Audiologist or Hearing Aid Practitioner

Acoustic Audiology is looking for an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Practitioner to join our team in Lloydminster.
We are an audiologist-owned, family-run independent clinic with a simple goal: to provide excellent hearing healthcare while treating people the way we would want our own families to be treated.

We are also open to expanding services with the right clinician, including areas such as tinnitus and hyperacusis, pediatrics, vestibular assessment, auditory processing, and other areas of special interest.
The Position
Our clinicians provide comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing care rather than simply fitting hearing aids. We believe successful hearing rehabilitation takes appropriate assessment, verification, counselling, follow-up, and time.
Responsibilities may include:
- Comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations
- Hearing aid selection, prescribing, fitting, and programming
- Verification of hearing aid fittings using real-ear measurements (REM)
- Counselling and hearing rehabilitation
- Ongoing follow-up care for patients and their families
- Hearing aid troubleshooting and clinical support
- Accurate charting, reports, and clinical documentation
- Collaboration with physicians, ENTs, neurotologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Participation in community education, outreach, and clinic initiatives
Acoustic Audiology currently provides care to patients six years of age and older. Audiologists should be comfortable assessing and providing care to both adults and children within their scope of practice.

Experience with diagnostic audiology, hearing aid fitting, and major manufacturer fitting software is an asset, but we do not expect a new graduate to arrive knowing everything. For the right candidate, we are happy to provide mentorship and support as their clinical confidence and skills develop.
Qualifications
Audiologist
- Master’s Degree in Audiology or Doctor of Audiology (AuD)
- Registered with ACSLPA or eligible for registration
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Hearing Aid Practitioner
- Hearing Aid Practitioner/Hearing Instrument Specialist diploma or equivalent
- Registered with CHAPA or eligible for registration
- Fluent in written and spoken English
